AIM 2001 TO BE HELD ON 28th APRIL

| Anugerah Industri Muzik 2001 will take place at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday 28th April 2001. This was announced by AIM 2001 Committee Chairman, Darren Choy at a media conference recently.
This year's event will also see a new broadcaster carrying the 'live' television programme to viewers in the country. |

Based on an agreement between AIM organisers, PAIMM (aka the Akademi) and NTV7, the latter will be the official TV broadcaster for a 3-year period beginning with AIM 2001. According to NTV7 Chief Executive, Dato' Shazalli Ramly, the station will embrace AIM and give its full support in promoting the event primarily through TV promos and specially produced programmes beginning from 1st March 2001.
In keeping with driving AIM over multiple-media, print, radio and the internet will be deployed alongside television. ERA FM will once again be the official radio station while all developments and updates to the event will be carried right here on this site, along with a number of web-only exclusives.
