. K.S Chow Gets To Know Artistes To Produce Album Covers By Sharifah Shahrizad Sharer 19th April 2001 .

Anugerah Industry Muzik 2001 (AIM 2001), Malaysia's very own grammy award ceremony, will once again witness the artwork of K.S Chow, Creative Manager of Sony Music (M) Sdn Bhd, being nominated for the Best Album Cover category. This time around, K.S Chow receives three nominations for the category for three artistes, Hattan (Aku dan Mentor), Amy Mastura (Bintang Hati) and A2Z (Bang Boom Bang). K.S Chow, or Simon, admitted that his eight years of experience in the field helps him a lot in producing quality album covers besides enlisting help and ideas from the artistes themselves. Talking about three of his works being nominated this time, the Perak-born explained that the understanding of the particular artiste's taste and character is essential before he can come up with a particular concept for the album cover.
