| . An AIM For English Local Album? By Sharifah Shahrizad Sharer 27th April 2001 . |
| The emergence of many English local albums has given some hope for John?s Mistress vocalist to see a special award similar to Anugerah Muzik Industri (AIM) in acknowledging such albums. We can now see many new artistes coming out with English albums and I hope that one day in future a special award or AIM will be created to recognise these albums,? Fumi told Bernama Infotainment. John?s Mistress, which got its name from a graffiti in a public toilet, comprised three youngsters -- Fumi (vocalist/guitarist), Hans (bassist) and Chino (drummer). For AIM 2001, John?s Mistress received three nominations Best New English Local Artiste, Best English Local Album and Best Music Video.
